What is Spiritual Energy Healing ?
Spiritual Healing is about working with illness, dis-ease, and dis-harmony from multiple angles. When using spiritual healing to address illness, we focus on bringing harmony back to reinforce a person’s whole body-heart-mind health. Spiritual Healing is a simple, safe and supportive energy therapy that aims to bring balance to mind, body and soul, as well as to stimulate the body’s own natural healing ability. You do not have to be ill to benefit from Spiritual Healing as it also supports good health and wellbeing.
Spiritual Healing is a completely natural process.
It is thought to establish a flow of beneficial energy between the healer and the recipient that addresses the ‘dis-ease’ manifesting at its deepest level, thus seeking to awaken the body’s natural resources to work in the most effective way to restore balance, harmony and well being. Spiritual Healing is termed Holistic – meaning ‘whole’ – which means that instead of addressing symptoms in isolation Spiritual Healing looks to encompass physical, mental and emotional ‘dis-ease’. It views all illnesses as being interlinked and the result of underlying issues of the whole person – the body, mind and soul.
As a qualified Healer Member of the The Healing Trust I offer the Spiritual Healing sessions to anybody that feels that they may benefit from this beautiful experience, either because they want to address some discomforts or simply because they would like to enhance their physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. About The Healing Trust and NFSH
The Healing Trust and National Federation of Spiritual Healers (NFHS)
The National Federation of Spiritual Healers (NFSH) was created in 1954 and is the largest professional organisation in the UK, with affiliated Healing organisations worldwide. The NFSH was founded on the initiative of one John Britnell. Nationally renowned Healer, Harry Edwards, was recorded as Member No 1 and the Charity’s offices were based at his home at Burrows Lea , near Guildford. Harry Edwards was to remain President of NFSH until his death in 1976. His vision for the future was that of doctors and Healers working alongside each other, and for Healers to be available across the country. In 2009 it was decided to use The Healing Trust as the working name of NFSH.
A major turning point came for NFSH in 1960, when Chairman Gordon Turner persuaded the medical authorities to allow Spiritual Healers to give Healing in hospitals. By 1974 the rapid growth of overseas membership inspired the NFSH President to create The World Federation of Healing.
Many Healer Members of The Healing Trust work in hospitals, hospices and care homes alongside the medical practitioners and their work is respected and recognized by the conventional medical organizations all around the world.
